Soon the husband turns out to be the ideal suspect. The only strange thing about the case is the murder weapon: a nailgun. The case becomes complicated when one of the CSIs is attacked when they return to the crime scene and ends up in hospital. | | 81 | "Urban Hellraisers" | Dean Widenmann and Marc Guggenheim | Matt Earl Beesley | November 21, 2005 | 409 | | Delko is at the bank, following an ATM taking his debit card, when three robbers wearing ski masks rush in. Delko knows he can’t win against the three robbers but when one of them tries to rape a girl it ends in a shootout. The security tape leads them to University of Miami and to the robbers next target and Horatio manages to arrest one of them. The trail leads to a videogame named Urban Hellraisers and when Ryan starts playing it, it seems there are a lot of similarities between the game and the actual crimes. It’s up to the team to catch the robbers before they commit a crime much more serious than the last one. | | 82 | "Shattered" | Ildy Modrovich | Scott Lautanen | November 28, 2005 | 410 | | A drug lord is gunned in his Coconut Grove mansion and a suspect arrested at the scene claims he sells marijuana to Delko. Stetler, from Internal Affairs, investigates and the case quickly gets personal when Horatio gets involved. As for the shooting, the CSIs learn that two gunmen may have been involved. However, the woman's body is recovered from a lake after the trial concludes and the 'double jeopardy' clause precludes the husband from being tried again. Now, as the CSIs fear that justice may not be served, new evidence suggests that the husband may have practiced on another victim first. | | 91 | "Driven" | Ildy Modrovich | Eagle Egilsson | March 20, 2006 | 419 | | After a group of wealthy women are robbed at a luxury day spa, evidence leads the CSIs to believe that this is a part of a much larger car chopping scam and each of these women are being targeted for a home robbery. Matters become worse when Horatio discovers that Marisol was also at the spa during the robbery and he must now protect her when her life is threatened. The couple was made out to be “media darlings” and soon find that not everyone though of them as darlings. To try and find the woman the team must first figure out whom the kidnapped woman was trying to call in the first place. Marisol has a difficult decision to make and Horatio helps her. The team investigates the long list of potential suspects but soon find that the list is dramatically decreased when the CSI’s find a large amount of money is missing from the victim’s stateroom. When a hit ordered by the Mal Noche gang on Horatio finds the people he loves lives are in danger. However, their quest is jeopardized when the Feds seize the CSI lab with the intent to close it for good, based on the tip from the mole inside. When the mole is finally revealed to the entire lab, as well as the murder of an officer familiar to Delko, Caine and Wolfe the news sends the remaining CSIs reeling. |

They go on sniffing after the trail of Antonio Riaz, who ordered the hit on Marisol. Delko is mad because Brazilian authorities have made it tough for them to get close to Riaz, who is spending comfortable time in a brazilian jail. Horatio is haunted by images of Marisol. Riaz is set free because witnesses in the case are excused from appearing in the court, as they are signed under a witness protection program. Horatio is caught up in a tangle of family and emotional issues. He runs into Yelina and finds out that his brother Raymond is missing again. Raymond Jr. wants to bring his father back even at the risk of his life. But, Raymond is already dead and Horatio must stop his nephew from getting killed in the crossfire of Brazilian mafia. Spanish is used throughout the episode instead of Portuguese, the language of Brazil. | | 99 | "Going Under" | Marc Dube and John Haynes | Matt Earl Beesley | September 25, 2006 | 502 | | Calleigh's vehicle is forced off the road into a body of water and ruins the evidence along with it. They are forced to find new evidence. As the team delves deeper into the investigation they soon discover a larger plot that could put Miami in danger. | | 107 | "Come As You Are" | Brian Davidson | Joe Chappelle | November 27, 2006 | 510 | | A Marine recruiter is found dead on a civilian shooting range with various bullet holes in him, but there is no blood at the scene. The CSIs find out that the victim was dead before he was shot and that his body was pulled onto the range. As the case advances, Horatio determines the murder may be tied to the death of a marine in Iraq who was killed in combat. The investigation reveals the victim was seeing a therapist who suddenly dropped him as a patient. Delko gets hit with a large law suit after investigating a domestic dispute. | | 111 | "No Man's Land" - Watch Now | Dominic Abeyta | Scott Lautanen | February 5, 2007 | 514 | | The lives of two CSIs are put in danger when an old enemy of Horatio's returns. When a truck full of confiscated weapons is hijacked and the weapons are released back into the public, Horatio links the crime to Clavo Cruz, a man he put away for murder years ago. However, on the day of Clavo's arraignment, a confiscated missile is launched into the courthouse to aid his escape, with Alexx inside. This episode has the most glaring errors just to create the plot: Heavy crates are loaded on a truck with no security that they cannot move during the transport and weapons are carried to destruction with ammunition. In real life those weapons would have been made inoperable before the transportation and the crates would have been tied up within the compartment so that they cannot move during the transport. | | 112 | "Man Down" | Ildy Modrovich | Karen Gaviola | February 12, 2007 | 515 | | Horatio and Delko are ambushed while searching for a kidnapped court stenographer in a parking garage, and a CSI is seriously wounded. The woman was abducted by Clavo Cruz, who escaped from prison. The investigation reveals the boy's parents were drugged at a nearby party and that there is a thief in the neighborhood who may be connected to the crimes.
